Dwarf Black Mulberry is a self pollinating deciduous long-lived small tree. The fruit is large and juicy with a good balance of sweetness and tartness. Eat fresh or use for making jams, wines and desserts. It is best to pick the fruit when ripe, as it doesn’t ripen further off the tree. The fruit ripens over an extended period from late spring to early autumn, rather then all at once.

Plant in a sunny position in well drained soil. Prune after fruiting to encourage a second smaller crop. Feed with a complete fertiliser over fruiting season.
