Can be used for blanching, roasting, fresh, confectionery, cooking. A very popular early cultivar with good flavour and soft shell. Performs best in a warm dry climate but appears to be adaptable to other regions. The first self-pollinating almond to be introduced to Australia.

Flowers very early in Spring so can be susceptible to frosts. Plant in deep, well drained soils. Roots do no like to be wet for prolong periods.

  • Grows approx. 3.5-4.5m x 4.5-5.5m.

  • Responds well to heavy pruning.
