Compact, reliable, evergreen shrub from New Zealand with neat, glossy foliage. Rose-purple flower spikes provide a colourful summer display. Useful for low hedges, containers and garden beds. Tolerates windy sites, coastal conditions and light frost.

Prefers moist, well drained soil in full sun or part shade. Trim lightly after flowering to maintain bushy growth, and teed in spring.
Mulch well.
