This beautiful Dogwood provides year-round interest with showy blossom, excellent autumn colour, bright green foliage and an attractive branching habit. Of value as a spreading, deciduous screening tree that grows wider than tall or as an elegant, spreading specimen in larger gardens and parks. New leaves are fresh lime green in colour. Autumn colour can be excellent and ranges from rich reds to glowing oranges and burgundy. Flat topped cymes of densely packed creamy-white flowers from late spring to early summer. Mature trees are a magnificent sight when the branches are covered with flowers.

Rest autumn colour is observed in cooler districts. This cultivar is reported to tolerate urban conditions better than most other Cornus. Mulch to retain moisture and lower the soil temperature during summer. Prefers a moist, well drained, slightly acidic soil in full sun or part-shade position.
