A stunning Camellia featuring glossy green new growth with distinctive ruby blushed leaf tips. The leaves age to a slightly matt dark green, making lovely foil to the delightful buds that smother this shrub. Rich, plump, raspberry coloured buds unfold to expose dainty, double, creamy blooms up to 10cm across. The flowers hold well and smother the shrub for a long period of time beginning in the early spring.

The shrub has a tight, compact, slightly upright habit making it very attractive and versatile alternative to Buxus and other hedges. It can be clipped as low as 50cm high although it can reach 2 to 2.5m tall. Also perfect as a garden feature or pot specimen.
