An attractive, small, spreading, evergreen tree with glossy leaves, some thorns and fragrant, creamy-white blossoms. Flavourful, large, round  fruit with blood orange flesh. Ideal feature tree to plant straight in the ground or in a container in Mediterranean style gardens, great for espaliered along a sunny wall. The delicious fruit is highly nutritious, rich in vitamin C, refreshing and ideal for juicing, preserves, desserts and cooking.

Grow in a sunny position with well drained soil and protection from strong winds. Water regularly during the warmer months especially while fruit is forming. Water container specimens every 3-4 days. Prune in late spring removing inside growth and to shape the tree. Fertilise in spring and late summer/early autumn with high nitrogen fertiliser.
