A deciduous, small shrub with bronze-purple foliage in spring and summer, turning crimson in autumn. Excellent for hedging and for foliage contrast in the garden, and also suitable for container growing.

Plant in full sun for best colour. Thrives in adverse conditions including wet, cold and poor soil. Responds well to heavy pruning in winter for growth renewal in spring.
