Large shrub or small tree with upright or slightly spreading branches clothed in soft, silvery grey foliage. Small red flowers, attractive to birds, are produced year-round with a peak in Spring and Summer.

Excellent foliage contrast in water-wise gardens, native gardens and mixed shrub borders.

Prefers very well drained soil. Tolerant of sandy and gravely soils, dry conditions, frost and coastal conditions. Trim lightly after flowering if required.
