A new Syzygium australae Select form that is a dense, fast growing Australian native. Glossy green foliage all year round, with new shots coming out as a constructing crimson red. Also produces cream flowers and purple berries.

Ideal as a container specimen for topiary, but this plant is especially good as a hedge or dense screening around backyards, pools and courtyard areas.

Grows best in full sun position, but can also grow well in part shade in most situations, with well drained soil preferable.

  • Grows approx 3-4m x 1m (can be pruned).
  • Frost sensitive when purchased, tolerant once well established.
  • Great as a topiary as well as a screening plant.
