Spathiphyllum is commonly know as the Peace Lily and is used as a house plant in lots of different situations. Of all the Spathiphyllum varieties, Sensation is acknowledged as the worlds best. It features large, dark green  leaves and produces large white flowers with yellow spadix.

Perfect indoor plant that beautifies its surroundings whilst cleaning the air of harmful toxins. Grows as a strong, upright habit to 70cm-1m, with stems that spread to a similar width. Will enjoy warm conditions and ‘bright shade’ meaning bright conditions without direct sunlight.

Use a general purpose, controlled release fertiliser in spring and again in summer which can be supplemented by an occasional liquid feed. Avoid the temptation to over feed the plant as this can burn the foliage. Water in well when first planted. the soil must be kept moist, especially in summer. Remove spent flowers by cutting stem at base. Re-pot every 2-3 years. Use a damp cloth to clean foliage.
