Highly attractive ornamental, slender trunked tree with attractive bark, foliage and Autumn colour.

Attractive deciduous tree with slender white trunk that has dark markings toward the base. Drooping branchlets with serrated leaves become yellow in Autumn. Generally tall, narrow column or cone shape overall.

Will grow in most garden soils that drain freely in sun or partial shade. More tolerant of dry soil conditions than some other birch species. Use a thick organic mulch layer and water well during hot Summer periods while establishing.
