Attractive perennial with upright stems, slightly woody at the base and fresh green oval leaves. Bright red, tubular flowers appear on loose spikes from summer to autumn. Ideal for perennials borders, cottage gardens and rockeries.

Grow in a sunny to partly shaded position in moist, well drained soil. Tolerant of light frosts. Cut back after flowering to encourage strong new growth. Keep moist in dry weather.
