A low-growing, evergreen shrub with a dense, compact, rounded habit this dwarf form of Raphiolepis produces an abundance of showy white flowers with prominent pink stamens, from early Autumn through to late Spring. Grows in full sun to partial shade with best flowers produced in full sun.
Oriental Pearl is tough and hardy, resistant to salt spray, excellent for coastal gardens and great for planting around salt pools. It is sensational as a low hedge or border and is perfect for mass planting.
Suitable for most types of soil provided there is good drainage. ‘Oriental Pearl’ rarely exceeds 1m tall and will spread to approx 1m. Heat and frost tolerant but may require protection in extreme situations.
