A hardy evergreen shrub which has a vigorous, bushy, upright form.

It has small green foliage set against dark,  solid, erect stems and not floppy like other Pittosporum variety. It will take full sun or part shade and prefers well drained, fertile, moist soil. It is frost tolerant and copes in windy areas.

For best results, prune in late winter or early spring and feed well once you see new growth. Supply moisture and mulch for summer. Great specimen for hedging or screening.
