A slender, columnar tree with a strong central leader and attractive symmetrical branching, growing to approximately 11m x 3m in twenty years. Dense growth habit with glossy leaves that turn reddish-orange and purple in Autumn. Single white flowers smother the tree in Spring. A hardy and disease resistant tree, ideal for narrow spaces, urban sites and avenue planting.

Prefers full sun. Adaptable  to most soils including dry and intermittently wet soils. Tolerates air pollution. Stake tree when young. Mulch to retain soil moisture and control weeds. Fertilise during the growing seasons. Prune in Winter if required.
