An attractive long stemmed shrub which maintains beautiful shades of red for most of the year with masses of small to medium tulip shaped flower heads. These open in late winter or early spring to reveal an impressive display of bright red flower heads striped with white. Strawberry and Cream adds all year round colour to general landscaping including coastal plantings. Extremely hardy plants that are ideal for medium hedges and look great in a large tub. Fantastic plants for use as a cut flower also.

A hardy South African plant requiring well drained soil and preferring a sunny well drained position. Frost and drought tolerant requiring little to no summer watering once established. Prune by at least a third to half of the bush after the flowering period. Fertilise after pruning with a low phosphorus fertiliser suitable for natives.
