An attractive palm with a slender shape and arching, leathery fronds. It is one of the most popular palms in the world and is widely grown outdoors in warmer climates and as an indoor specimen in cooler climates.
Excellent landscaping specimen around pools and buildings, in parks and gardens and as a feature plant on patios. Can be grown indoors in cooler climates provided the soil is kept moist in summer and drier in winter.
Grows outdoors in a sunny to partly shaded position in moist, well drained soil. Adequate warmth, filtered light and humidity are required to be used as an indoor plant.
