Grows well in most well drained soils in full sun. Ideal as an informal hedge or screen. Highly attractive to nectar feeding birds and tolerates light frost.

Prune after flowering to maintain a bushy habit. Mulch well. Feed lightly in late winter with a fertiliser formulated specifically for Australian plants.
