An outstanding and popular evergreen grown for its heavenly blooms and handsome dark green, glossy foliage. Generously large, heavily perfumed white double flowers are borne during summer, often reading 10cm in diameter.

Thrives in a warm and moist, frost free position provided there is adequate shelter from heat, wind and frost. Ideally they are suited to morning sun followed by dappled afternoon light. An acid loving plant preferring a rich and fertile well drained soil.

Feed through out the growing season and mulch well. Do not let potted specimens dry out. Responds well to light pruning – this can be done after flowering and will encourage luxurious, bushy growth.
