Fargesia Fortune is able to withstand cold winters, hot summers and windy conditions. An excellent species for hedging and screening.

Thrives well in rich organic soils. Tolerates full sun to shade, although prefers morning sun with filtered afternoon shade. Feed in spring with high nitrogen dfertiliser and water frequently in summer. Prune in early spring or early autumn as required.
