A small, deciduous tree that produces lovely, yellow-green figs that have a sweetly flavoured flesh. A vigorous grower. Fruit are delicious eaten straight from the tree or can be used in salads, grilled or preserved. The tree makes a excellent shade tree.

Prefers moist, well drained soil in a sunny, open position. Will grow in cooler climates. Prune to a multi-stemmed, vase shape and trim back annually to keep the tree compact.
