Elegant Australian native shrub with attractive tubular flowers. Bright green, linear to ovate foliage creates a verdant background to the appealing flowers. Buds are orange-cream, unfurling to candy-pink with fine white hairs.

Prefers light to medium, well-drained soil in an open sunny position. Will tolerate light shade, frost, drought and prolonged dry periods. Regular pruning will improve flowering and help to maintain a desirable shape. Use a slow release fertiliser formulated for natives and mulch well. Waterwise / drought tolerant gardens, Attractive to nectar feeding birds and pollinating insects.
