The magnificent Elk Horn fern has broad, shield-shaped fronds from which emerge upright, forked fronds. Plantlets grow from the base of the shield, resulting in large clumps. Naturally growing as epiphytes in trees, Elk Horns are best displayed attached to trees or timber backings.

Easily grown in cool, moist, shady conditions. Ensure adeqate moisture at all times. Protect from snails and slugs. In cold areas, reduce watering during winter to avoid rotting.
