A late maturing cherry that produces large heart shaped fruit. Skin is dark red almost black. Flesh is sweet, red and juicy. Eat fruit fresh, in jams and preserves. Self fertile.

Prefers an open position with well drained, fertile soil. Plant bud union above soil level. Water regularly after planting until established. Mulch well. Prune to shape and thin out excessive fruit set.
