Versatile, clumping perennial with a compact habit and short, sword like leaves. Spikes of bright blue to purple flowers appear in spring and summer and these are followed by glossy, deep blue berries. Very effective when mass planted and ideal for easy care gardens and in containers.

Thrives in sunny position in well drained soil. Tolerant of some shade as well as dry conditions and frost.
