A colourful, evergreen Australian native shrub bearing a profusion of brilliant crimson bottle-brush flowers during spring. Ideal for seaside gardens, shrubberies, as a screening or hedge plant. The flowers attract nectar feeding birds.

Flowers best when in full sun. Tolerates a wide range of soils and conditions including coastal exposure. Frost hardy. Prune spent flowers annually to ensure bush growth and abundant flowering for the following year.
