An upright variety of the common ‘English Box’. This buxus has glossy, dark green foliage that is pointed and oblong. It will grow into a narrow, pencil like shrub. It is an excellent hedging or topiary variety and produces insignificant flowers in summer. It is very low growing but is a strong plant.

Plant in well drained and worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep moist until the tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth.

  • Full sun to part shade position.
  • Grows approx. 2m x .5m.
  • Columnar shape great for narrow spaces.
