A delicious delicate flavour that is very sweet and aromatic. Best flavour when left to hang on the tree. Store well. A good choice for the home orchard because of its resistance to apple scab (black spot). Mid to late season maturity.

Choose an open sunny position in well-drained soil. After planting spread mulch above the roots to retain moisture and suppress weeds, but keep away from trunk. Apply fertiliser to soil above the roots as soon as new growth begins in spring and water in well. Protect from strong winds. Consider netting to protect from birds. Correct pruning techniques are essential to the trees fruiting success. Before planting, prune well back to outward pointing buds. When established, prune in winter.
