A beautiful, medium to large green-yellow skinned Apple. Sweet flavour with a sprightly tang. Used for fresh fruit, cooking and drying. Keeps well. A very popular cultivar that matures mid-season.

Skin: Pale green becoming yellow, with numerous conspicuous lenticles.
Flesh: Cream, with a slight tinge of green. Crisp and firm. Fine grained. Good keeping qualities.
Flavour: Good. Sweet with a little acid.

  • Full sun position, sheltered from wind.
  • Grows 5m depending on how you prune.
  • White flesh with green skin.

Description

Choose an open sunny position in well-drained soil. After planting spread mulch above the roots to retain moisture and suppress weeds, but keep away from trunk. Apply fertiliser to soil above the roots as soon as new growth begins in spring and water in well.

Protect from strong winds. Consider netting to protect from birds. Correct pruning techniques are essential to the trees fruiting success. Before planting, prune well back to outward pointing buds. When established, prune in winter.
