A small and upright maple with a wide crown. It produces delicate and deeply lobed foliage that is deep red during spring and then an intense crimson colour in autumn. A perfect tree for smaller gardens, specimen planting and as a contrast against green plantings.

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
